COME OVER TO MY HOUSE CHALLENGE - completed top

Here is my GreenBOM finished top...... the whole morning I have been with this.... and DONE with it!

Not very satisfying though for the sky are too light and some trees are withering soon.... mmm.

To be quilted next year.... pray hard!!!

I had a problem printing out the template provided since the ink of my old printer had dried up long since.... so I made my own from the some dimensions given, draft the whole lot and cut out to pieces of templates.

Glad that I made it through and planted the so called evergreen trees.

Here we were adding some landscape by 'planting' trees and shrubs (snow-balls blocks). More trees are growing by next month.....

For the last block of Morty's I used lavender. Kind of bright compared to the rest. Just changed the columns fabric to enhance them. Wow, soon we are adding the trees and shrubs and all greens will appear!!!! Love all these....

I was surprised that we have an early design for this month... and managed to just a quick whip on this. Use up some blues for Lydia's House.

Again for this block I did a few adjustments especially the door and window levels were aligned to each other. And a soft fabric design was chosen for the kennel just not to highlight it compared to other buildings.

This Tom's House has totally different shades. More masculine colour of black and grey. I prefer the window and door to be of same level as they look neat together.

Block 3 (Jimmy's Place) has the slight colour contrast from the previous blocks, just to give a little variation. Hope it blends well.

My Brenda's House Block pattern turns out to have a soft color blends with the bright roof to highlight the whole house. Look forward for the next round!
