SEKATA II..... WI Kedah

 

On Thursday, 26th April, the WI 'SEKATA' Kedah centre zone project was held at AmanPura Hotel, Sungai Petani  for 2 solid days. 20 selected participants came and had fully focus on the project. We did a decorative cushion cover, sanitary pad purse and felt products. The beginning of the sessions were at a slow pace, but with some motivation, things getting better and all completed on time.Congratulations all!!

How grateful I am when in the hustle bustle of daily chores in the studio, Najwa, our niece, came lending me a hand, while she is on break to pursue her studies on September.

Nurul's n HappyHouse # 8

 A set of sweet colour for Puan Nurul. 

It is rarely I did something frilly for babies. Looks okay though, as requested, but I switched to white trimming instead of using the same fabric to prevent over crowding the whole set..... :)

 The HappyHouse # 8 is returning summoned by Nurul and a wrapped diaper basket came along to match the entire lilac family.

TEH was loaded finally....

My first quilt top was loaded on the frame a week ago. A little had just been quilted on and as I could not concentrate on Teh (I named her) but will constantly be doing so as a runaway project :)

SEKATA I..... WI Kedah

On Thursday, the WI 'SEKATA' Kedah north zone project was held at WNS Homestay for 2 solid days. 20 selected participants came and had fully focus on the project conducted by me and all sewing  materials was supplied by ADR'S. We did my version of 'Square Patched' bag, a matching cosmetic pouch, and a "Girl Owl" key chain. I had a great time teaching them..... and I enjoyed every minutes seeing them absorbing all things poured and scribbling every tips I mumbled...... great!
