SEKATA III..... WI Kedah

Yang Amat Mulia Tengku Putri Utama Negeri Perlis, Dato Seri Diraja Sharifah Salwa officiated the closing ceremony of the WI 'SEKATA III' Kedah south zone project. It was held at Kulim Inn, Kulim  on 7th June, for 2 solid days. 

 

19 selected participants came and had fully focus on the project. 9 did an applique baby comforter and the other half did a rose wallhanging using a paper piecing method. An additional felt products was also conducted.

All participants were doing very well and completed on time.Congratulations all!!

 

The happy and contented smiling face of me with other commitee members from WI Kedah State.

  The comforter....... I must admit that I was overwhelmed by the "studded-love-rippled-in-clear-water" appearance of the quilt.
