Casserole Dish Carrier

There they go...the six pieces were done this morning plus one made before, and after several months of hiding under the sewing table......

Strawberry Diaper Bag

As mentioned on earlier entry, a diaper bag for Puan Haliza will be included. Here it is.

The design was just like before...... But this time with confidence and quite contented with the outcome. Quilted bag body and base, with snap buttons on both ends and at center a flap secured with magnetic closure.

Internally, like any other bag meant for tagging baby items along ..... bottle straps, pen slots, lots of pockets and four more of the later on the external.

Sri Rahayu's

Few other preparation for the new arrival of a first child would be their bedding set.

These baby casing is an additional of what Sri Rahayu has prepared for her baby expected due on November.










With a cuddly comforter and a diaper stacker too.....
I was so in love with the fabric I made one piece for me .... :) as at my previous entry.

Soul Mate in Quilting

I am currently on another baby comforter.

To answer some queries from dear blogger friends, here I have a few shots of my machine use for quilting. Just a SINGER 20U63A, an old fav.

This oldie was meant for free motion embroidery machine bought around 15 years ago, and was converted to be my regular sewing machine too, for everything sewing related... :D

Look closely at my broken lever darning foot (from my other machine - FAITH -retired now.) This foot is my real buddy on quilting! It is as old as my son, BOY, 21.

One day, one fine day, may my wish to have a little long arm quilting machine and a frame will be fulfilled. InsyaAllah........ Aaminn.

So near..yet so far

I was hunting for another strawberry-printed fabric yesterday when the urge of longing for this girl was unbearable :D..... 'cos I was right below her office building in town...seemed I almost see her through the concrete wall.... :D

And we met at Pekan Rabu.... the famous tourist attraction in the heart of Bandar Alor Star. Wow..... two crazy buddy met....! (orang kat situ pandang semacam aja depa dua ni). A brief one hour was just like a blink of an eye.... but a lot of views, sewing related and personal ordeal was revealed and narrated out.....

Above pic... Ann holding my fav bag and she....... in her fav baju kurung...... yet with her smile, the shallowness of her eyes, shows. Ann, be brave! I have ears for you and I am always there to lend you a shoulder ..... :)

Just...

Started this baby beauty for the last few days. A wholecloth quilted baby comforter. This free motion quilt sampler is for my sewing room.

Haliza's

The other sweet strawberry baby set which was shown earlier, is for Puan Haliza.

And as usual as a token of appreciation and love added in is the matching diaper stacker.

Right now I am working on her diaper bag.... will update soon :)

Siti Khadijah's

Siti Khadijah is patiently waiting for this set to nest her first child soon. This set includes a baby comforter and my love gift, the diaper stacker. Thanks , dear.
