just another of the flower garden quilt. the fabrics were the remnants of my 2 girls 'baju kurung raya'. they are french cottons and having a batik design. it has the swirl formation in the centre. that is how i got the name for it.
this was done quite recently at BK3 home. now this little beauty is happily staying there with the 2 girls. (the girls said that i made their baju kurung smaller in size so as to save fabric for my quilt.(no.....not really)

BLUE HEXY TABLE CENTRE

took about one year to complete. not that i care less about it. this cutie was one of my take-along-project, means that i stitched on my vacations or trips, or even in the car (if i'm not driving then). all in one toolbox, just grab it and off to our destinations (done few projects - it works well). note the 50 sens coins in the pics, it is the size of each hexagon. well, i challenge you, dear friends.....

HAZIQ'S QUILT

my first wholecloth quilt done for a new born baby boy. design adapted from a quilting magazine. handquilt this took about two weeks to complete. adorn by blue cotton lace around the edges to replace the binding. to get details later-k.i.v

done with full passion... all handsewn and handquilted. the applique part is the most challenging because this was my first project using hand applique method. finally it was done and the owner was so happy and love it so much. thank god!

BASARIAH'S PINK

king - 3rd edition - my beloved sister - basariah there she goes... she too would never miss whatever i have (just joking). just a token of our sisterly love, i made this specially for her. as usual this kind of projects all done by hands...
lots of memories tagging along this quilt. started this pinky at the general hospital of Ipoh, while nursing my mum who had been hospitalized for almost three solid months. She was amputated and had some other related 'old-people' sickness and remedies that needed special attention and day-night observation. well what should i do then...i did my quilting, sewing, knitting and crocheting was the answer. sadly she passed away about four years ago now..... i missed her...

norisma herself could not resist the beauty of this simple design. i think it is more on playing with colours. she came to collect it from me all the way from Putra Jaya. it was a wedding gift to her beloved husband then.

was so reluctant to depart myself from this quilt. yet i can't resist to show it to my friends what i have. so have to repeat doing this for few times. just love this because of the tiny flower prints of the purple colour fabric i guess.
