Miles of Precut Binder

These I received from Murniwati sometimes ago together with lots more treasures that she feels she had grown unfond and tired of.....How lucky I am to received them all. Thanks Murni.

Will include the above 1.5" precut binder to all many small projects that matches and needs red binding. Well, for any large size quilt...... I think it is not suitable 'cos it ends up about quarter of an inch finished.......Very tiny!!!!

SAL - A vase with flowers-COMPLETED

Just had to get it done and I did it on the same fabric background........

After all thought I used the reverse/wrong side of the same fabric ...... I think I did soften the look, didn't I? I appreciate all dearest blogger friends who gave me advices and responded. Thanks, girls.

As for the whole SAL, I machine quilt around all applique. The backing is just plain white and finished with a ready cut binder. Another pic was the back after machine appliqued before sandwiching. Mine turns out to be a wall hanging, hanged proudly on one wall of my sewing corner.

Well, Sue dear, I have done mine :)........ Thanks for the effort you have showered over the game.

An early bird, makes a bag!

A Noriko Handbag from Lazy Girl Design

I have kept this printable design for almost a year. Today, started early and I now managed to finish it. It was quite an easy bag to make.

Used an upholstery fabric and a flannel for the lining and a 'not very suitable button'.... but I was so excited to get it done .........I will get a replacement for the closure soon :)

Added up an inner pocket too.

Thanks, Lazy Girl Design..... a lovely bag!

SAL - A vase with flowers-applique-updated

My first update on the SAL with Sue,

All cut and ready to be appliqued on the base fabric...... Up to this stage, I am quite sceptical about the busy background. Just compare when they were placed on white paper (as above) and then onto my grayish base.... Or maybe I have to change to softer base fabric.....

Please, any suggestions.....? :)

HEXAGON GAME-Zura's

This is a logical sequence of our HexyGame. Came at my post box yesterday..... from one participant from Sabah, Zura. I was overwhelmed with joy for a while but...... when I contacted her she asked if I ever received one batch consist 10 pieces..... NO!

The 20 pieces as above was sent after the one lost on the way to my home....... Today everything was corrected, after all the hustle bustle, and the Post Master came to clarify on my door step, we agree to declare that it was lost on my premise....... hooooo what a deal.... I have to say so to save all the mess......

Zura, thanks a lot for the lovely flowers..... I really appreciate them all.

All seems like a very pleasant dilemma to be in, but frustrating nonetheless.

Pink Baby Bear

I was away for 2 days, across the Malaysian borders, to Hadyai and Songkla in Southern Thailand with few friends for sight seeing...... just after I finished these baby quilts.

One was fully quilted and the other just stitch in the ditch.....

See if I can continue doing the quilting later on.
