MY SEWING CORNER

Personally I have been asked to expose my little corner of the world where I spent most of my times sewing and crafting.............Well, let the pictures tell the story.

It is my way of keeping all my fabrics pre-washed and fold them in-side-out. Here it looks like all are plain and dull colours... not really...... and I love all of them... and my books and magazines.

They are my treasures!

Pah, KDee really grateful 'bout all this... hubby understands my sewing passions.

Jennifer e-mailed me several times looking for friend somewhere in Sarawak, so KDee gave your blogsite. Hope you can guide her 'bout purchasing of fabrics at your hometown. Thanks Pah.

Alviana, most of my fabrics were locally bought.... some from relatives that travels and some gifts from friends and my kids.

I understand your situations...

I love to see rooms (from around the world) where a person spends their time to create. It looks like you are well oranized and every inch seems to be taken. Love your hexagon bag and quilt in progress.
I had never heard about folding fabric inside out? Does your room get a lot of direct sunlight?

Diah Rothman said...

Rose Marie,
Yes my sewing corner gets a lot of light from high ventilations up above the first floor level where light comes in till late evening. It is very natural....

I hide the fabrics behind the wallhanging quilt to avoid discolorations at the folded-parts and also as my pin-up wall, it works well though.

Thanks for visiting!
